Kelsey M. Latimer, PhD, CEDS-S, is a first-generation college student, graduating from the University of Rhode Island and receiving the university’s annual president award/excellence award in both disciplines. Dr. Kelsey's passion for research and the health/wellness of children and young adults led her to furthering her education, earning her doctorate and masters of science degrees from the University of North Texas, with emphases in child/adolescent development and neuropsychology. Throughout her doctoral training, Dr. Latimer became extremely passionate in the prevention and treatment of eating disorders, women's issues, trauma treatment and anxiety management. She has since gone on to oversee several nationally recognized eating disorder treatment programs for children, adolescents and adults and has recently graduated with her bachelor's of nursing science degree from FAU in order to view people from a complete bio-psycho-social mentality. Dr. Kelsey is skilled in a variety of techniques and skills, including EMDR, DBT, CBT, person-centered, and interpersonal process work. Regardless of techniques and tools used, she always utilizes a strengths-based approach, seeing a person first as a person and second someone dealing with a problem! In addition to being licensed as a clinical psychologist, she is also a Certified School Psychologist, Qualified Supervisor (QS) in the state of Florida, and a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist Supervisor for IAEDP. As a result, Dr. Kelsey can provide full psychosocial-educational assessments (including gifted, specific learning disability, and autism assessments), qualified supervision for RMHC-Interns and postdoctoral fellows, and CEDS supervision for those pursuing their eating disorder specialist credential. Dr. Kelsey has presented regionally/nationally/ internationally with over 50 invited presentations on topics such as body image, dieting downfalls, eating disorder evidence-based treatment, college student functioning and working with the millennial generation. She has been featured in dozens of media outlets (including Women's Health print magazine, Cosmopolitan, Allure, and many others) and is a co-author of the children's book series "POOFAS," which focuses on helping children to understand their emotions and provide development of positive self-esteem and positive self-talk. |
Mr. Ryan Kern

Mr. Kern graduated from the University of North Texas Cum Laude with a BA in Economics and minor studies in Philosophy and Religion. His passion to finding unique solutions to problems led him to presenting at the 2011 APA conference while discussing an interdisciplinary cross section of Economics, Social contract theory and Psychological concepts and their use in understanding cooperative and competitive behavior in college populations.
In graduate school, he led presentations and gave recommendations to an international cooperative that utilized sustainable concepts and economics in the development of Costa Rico’s Eco-tourism sector. Outside of Academia, Mr. Kern has a long history of leadership in the private sector working in a strategic capacity for Target, Best Buy stores and small start ups such as Nature, Leisure Times. He was known for systematically driving associate engagement for these companies that contributed to both business and community well being. Specifically he worked first hand with TX Parks and Wildlife and the Army Core of Engineers concerning the development of a local hospitality and retail businesses. Despite years in the business sector, Mr. Kern's true passion in life is helping others and that is why he has committed himself to developing the Hello Goodlife brand with Dr. Latimer. He is also involved in the charitable PCK Family Foundation. |
