Frequently Asked Questions

do i have to travel to you?

No! Not necessarily! We offer both in person and online assessments.  It is best to be in person if you are in the Florida area and able to, as virtual reality testing requires in person assessment and it is a unique aspect of our senior wellness assessment that our clients really love.  We have location options to test you currently in both Stuart, Florida and West Palm Beach, Florida.  When possible, we are willing to consider in-home concierge assessment on a case-by-case basis.  We also are available on weekends and after-hours for those seniors requiring accompaniment from a busy working family member.  If you are unable to attend in person and require online testing, we will not be able to provide the virtual reality testing but will use another validated measure for concentration and attentional capacity.  So don't let that stop you from reaching out!

 how much does it cost?

At KML, you never need to worry about that awkward "call us to find out our prices" experience.  We are always upfront as we would want others to be with us.  A comprehensive senior wellness assessment with virtual reality testing AND neuropsychological battery with feedback and report is available at the all-inclusive price of $2500.  Those who require concierge in-home option need to discuss the options directly with a KML team member for pricing.  If you are interested in additional treatments or therapy, that will be discussed at a later date.  

Does insurance cover senior wellness assessments?

That's a great question! We believe in providing access to care, as it is at the heart of the KML mission, which is why we accept multiple insurances for treatments.  Unfortunately, wellness assessments are just that - wellness oriented. They are not medically necessary and insurance coverage is for medically necessary visits.  Therefore, senior wellness assessments are intended to be for the individual who wants to be proactive and invest in their golden year wellness journey, so out of pocket options only are available at this time.

what if i don't live in florida but I still want a senior wellness assessment?

Great question! Well, you're in luck. Dr. Kelsey is a PSYPACT licensed psychologist, which means she can assist anyone who lives in a PSYPACT state.  Of course, we will need to adjust your assessment, as VR isn't available online but we can still assist you. Call us and we will let you know if the assessment is right for you. :)
